　　1)the government will cost more to build a new system. It will cost 100 billion dollar to construct the high-speed trains

　　2)people will choose to take the train when they find it is continent to get to the station. Due to the powerful public transportation, the people in the east coast can easily get to the station, but the public transportation is lacking on the west coast. People will choose to drive car when they find it is inconvenient to get to the station, so it will not alleviate the traffic.

　　3)in some regular trail, the trains are not allowed to pass, to the train will slow down, so that the fuel consumption does not decreases. Therefore, it will not do much good to the environment.
